About CalcSystems

I'm Jeff Delucia, based in Vermont. I've always been interested in personal finance, and I have a habit of building my own tools when the ones I find online don't quite cut it.

The problem was simple: most financial calculators require an account, hide results behind paywalls, or spit out a number without explaining where it came from. So I built the ones I actually wanted to use and made them free for anyone.

I'm not a financial professional, and this isn't a financial advisory service. What I bring is a genuine interest in how these calculations work, a care for getting the numbers right, and years of using tools like these to make my own financial decisions. Every calculator on this site has been built, tested, and used by me before it goes live.

What I Cover

  • Salary & Payroll — paycheck estimates, hourly conversions, overtime pay
  • Taxes — federal income tax, capital gains, self-employment, and all 50 states
  • Loans & Mortgages — auto loans, down payments, amortization schedules
  • Investing & Savings — compound interest, inflation, net worth, retirement
  • Business — break-even analysis, cost planning

My Approach

Accuracy first

Every calculator is built on verified sources — IRS publications, Bureau of Labor Statistics data, and current tax schedules. I fact-check the formulas and update them whenever tax year changes take effect.
